Ingredients
- 1 cup milk (or almond/oat milk)
- ½ cup freshly brewed strong coffee or espresso
- 1–2 tsp sugar, maple syrup, or honey (optional)
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
- A pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
Warm the milk in a small saucepan over low heat (don’t boil).
Add nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, and sweetener and whisk vigorously until slightly frothy and fragrant. Pour the brewed coffee into a mug. Slowly add the spiced milk mixture, stirring gently to combine.
Top with whipped cream and finish with a light dusting of ground nutmeg.
