Hot Buttered Rum with Nutmeg

 

Enjoy this hot dark rum spiced with nutmeg which makes a flavorful beverage in the winter season.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (60 ml) dark rum
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Hot water or hot apple cider

Instructions:

In a heatproof mug or glass, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, ground nutmeg, and ground cinnamon. Pour the dark rum over the butter mixture.

Fill the mug with hot water or hot apple cider, stirring until the butter and sugar are dissolved. Sprinkle a pinch of ground nutmeg on top as a garnish. Stir well before sipping and enjoy your warm and comforting Hot Buttered Rum with Nutmeg!
