Golden Spiced Oatmeal Bowl

Ingredients:

  • Rolled oats
  • Milk or plant-based milk
  • Turmeric powder
  • Coarse ground black pepper
  • Ground nutmeg
  • Honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Fresh fruit or nuts (optional)

Instructions:

Cook oats in milk or plant-based milk according to package instructions.

Stir in a pinch of turmeric, a small dash of black pepper, and a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Sweeten lightly if desired and top with fruit or nuts before serving.
