Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken (about 4-5 pounds)
- 2 teaspoons bay leaf powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 lemon, halved
- 1 onion, quartered
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the bay leaf powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Rub the chicken with olive oil, then evenly coat it with the spice mixture. Place the lemon halves and onion quarters inside the cavity of the chicken.
